Are you interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter with West Henrietta Fire Department, Henrietta Fire District?  If you are, please go to the Fire District web page at: Henrietta Fire District and complete this online form to start the process.

The Process

Once you apply to become a Volunteer Member of the Fire District, you will be required to attend your "home" Company Meetings and In-Service Crew time to see what this gig is all about.  With that, you'll need to be voted into the Volunteer Company prior to being brought up to the Board of Fire Commisioners for acceptance into the District.  You will be required to complete  various paperwork for a backgroun check, arson investigation, and medical evaluation.  From there, you will be put through the approprate training to become an Exterior Firefighter who assists on the fire scene.  Once available, you will be sent to a local Firefighter I class either in-house or at the Public Safety Training Factility.  Once you complete your Firefighter I, you will be considered an Interior Firefighter.  But remember, TRAINING DOESN'T END HERE!
